Hi, my name is Steve. I have raced pigeons in a professional way since 1979 with a fair amount of success from the early part of the 70s to the late 90s. Due to running my own company since the 90s I have not been able to do my birds justice therefore I decided to gift birds to various fanciers who have reported some of their successes to me. I now hope to return to the sport where I left off and bring these two great strains and the fanciers who created them to the fore front of pigeon racing once again.

Kenyon & Marriott Strains.

KENYONS

The birds descend from the long distance family known as one of the finest English strains ever the Kenyons .These birds where handed to me by my late uncle Gordon who raced these birds in the early 1950s with his partner Walter known as Parkin & Eason partnership. My uncle purchased these fantastic birds from the man himself Jim Kenyon, also the legendary Smyth Bros Ballymena Ireland. Since 1979 I have kept the birds as closely related as possible with no other introductions being made other than birds that have originated from the Smyth family Kenyons  fanciers such as ( C&L Woodside) (Jackie Patience ) In 1996 I brought birds from Fountain Head Lofts, one such pigeon was a son of Virtue named Argent I also purchased several other top class birds, all these blood lines still run through my birds today. Please visit my gallery and view the various copies of pedigrees letters and memorabilia from the past years regarding all the birds housed at our lofts.

MARRIOTTS

The old F. W Marriott / Arthur Munns birds / S. Bishop from Chatteris / J D Sproul. These were also handed to me by my late uncle Gordon at the same time as I received the Kenyons. These birds have also been kept closely related regarding pairing together no other introductions have been made up to date. In the early 80s I became great friends with the late J D Sproul from Coventry Walsgrave Lofts after reporting one of his young birds which he let me keep. This hen went on to breed me birds that won from 60mls to 500mls from the late 80s to the late 90s we still have descendants from this great hen when paired to other birds purchased from Joe shortly before he died.

Both the above strains are probably the only original strains housed within our lofts over in the UK.
